The Fed is shut down but not quite.....Were not missing a lick here and, nobody I know of is either.
The self-funded Postal Service will continue to operate and the government will continue to pay Social Security benefits and Medicare and Medicaid fees to doctors on time. The military will be paid under legislation freshly signed by Obama, but paychecks for other federal workers will be withheld until the impasse is broken.
There are several highly pertinent thoughts in this article that should be understood by us run of the

There is an excellent reason for sticking with a strict interpretation of the constitution. No party can stay in power for long without corruption becoming their base sensibility. As such there is always a time limit; and I see a historical pattern of approximately 40 years or two biblical generations of an ideologies heyday.... after that it gets watered down by compromise; as well meaning philosophers consider how to do things an even more perfect way. Or crooks figure out that they can just go out and do whatever they want. The problem is since no group remains in power forever, what ever bastardized law they make, would eventually be turned against the group that was previously in charge... Generally wrecking havoc in a society.
I say; once you have climbed the tallest peak in the world, that is as high as your going to get. Once men have achieved the (close enough) to perfect as your going to get there is no where to go but down. We reached the perfect balance in the 90's and; like I just said, It has been a veritable frenzy of elitist's raping the system for every dime they can snag while the majority of the rest of the people wallow in a morass of organized stupidity and ignorance.
This nation is going down....The only thing that the people can do is; food up, shelter up, gun up, group up and stand....your.....ground....
The one thing I can say for sure. The globalists are dirt eating cowards.... No compromise with them is possible.
